Captain Brandon Suguitan

Greetings fellow Oakland Anglers! My name is Brandon Suguitan. I have been an avid fisherman since I was old enough to turn the handle on a reel. At just seven years old, my parents would drop me off on the Huck Finn out of The Emeryville Sportfishing Marina. There I would fish and learn from Captain Art Robi. During this time I would sit in on all the fishing stories and learn the best kept secrets of how to put fish on the boat.

By the age of 13, I started my adventure as a “Pinhead” or deckhand in training aboard The New Huck Finn with sportfishing specialist, Captain Jay Yokomizo. Years later, I worked as a Senior Deckhand aboard the Captain Hook and Rapid Transit with Captain Michael Fernandez out of the Emeryville Marina.

I also work for as a Firefighter.
